Links and local activities

The Quay Indoor soft play grew out of a love for the coastal area that we live in and the unique mix of coastal and countryside location of Braunton. We love taking our kids surfing, running in the dunes and exploring the great outdoors. However sometimes we wanted to sit down and have a great cuppa in a safe and warm environment where our kids could burn off their energy and we could catch up with friends and family.

We designed The Quay to reflect our love of open spaces and to provide a community hub for families and friends to enjoy. We try to be as sustainable as possible in our sourcing, constantly evolving the menu to buy locally where possible and reduce our waste and environmental impact.

The soft play itself is constructed from wood and has a nautical theme running throughout. So your little pirates and merpeople can let their imagine run wild.

We have variety of packages on offer from hosting your party to private bookings. Please browse our website below for more details.

The Eden Project

The Eden Project, an educational charity, connects us with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work towards a better future.

Our visitor destination in Cornwall, UK, is nestled in a huge crater. Here, massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants, exhibitions and stories serve as a backdrop to our striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round family events.

This magical and very special 20 acre private garden with three lakes is set in a valley tucked away in North Devon only 4 miles from Barnstaple. Created by Dr Jimmy Smart VMH in the late 1950’s the gardens are a wonderful haven in which to relax and enjoy the impressive collection of plants, shrubs and trees and experience the views and peaceful atmosphere. The garden has featured on many garden programmes over the years and is enjoyed by visitors of all ages looking for inspiration, relaxation or just a great day out with the family. The view across the valley from the garden team room is spectacular, the food served is delicious. Dogs on leads are welcome too.
