Overview
Summer Haze self catering cottage is situated in the quiet hamlet of Higher Warcombe, near Woolacombe, North Devon within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 10 (by car) minutes from the award winning sandy surf beaches of Woolacombe and one mile from the picturesque village and coves of Lee (good for rock pooling and snorkeling) additionally ideally suited for walking the south west coastal path, just minutes within walking distance from the property.
The cottage accommodation has three bedrooms (one on the ground floor), bathroom with bath/ shower over (also on the ground floor next to a double bedroom), lounge/diner with wood burner, kitchen large private garden with play area, private secure parking for two cars (further available), Countryside and some sea views are afforded to most of the property.
The lounge/diner with wood burner is accessed from the kitchen, has a three seater sofa +2 seater sofa and large beanbag, extendable table with six chairs + highchair, TV/video player, Windows with views of the countryside.The solid oak feature staircase within the lounge was sourced from woodland situated in the valley behind the cottage.
These lead to a large double bedroom with four poster bed with side tables( space for a travel cot if needed), dressing table, set of drawers and window with sea views. And additional bedroom with staggered bunkbeds is situated off the same landing which has Veluxe window. Stair gates are positioned on top and bottom of the stairs.
The fully equipped kitchen has direct access into the private garden and parking areas. They consistent gravelled of areas is directly outside the cottage, with outside lighting, raised flower beds, table/ chairs. Small stone steps give you access to the raised lawn with bench seat and additional table, raised flower beds and secure fenced/gated play area with three swings, slide and garden toys, ideal for younger children. Further trees and rotary washing line. This area further leads to a secluded area with picnic bench, planted pots and mature trees, ideal for barbecues.
