We the owners are still following previous Government guidelines here at Summer Haze Cottage when cleaning the cottage etc. this is entirely for your peace of mind during your stay.
A few comments due to the Covid -19 Virus and to further give you our guests peace of mind during their stay.
Due to Covid-19 certain new conditions have been updated for our guests well-being. For the time being arrival times have changed to any time after 5.00pm with the cottage having to be vacated by 9.30am at the latest. This gives our cleaners time to flush fresh air (for three hours) through all rooms and deep clean the cottage.
Beds must be striped with all linen placed in black bin liners with the same done for towels. This helps to protect our cleaners.
All bins to be emptied and placed in rubbish bins behind screens opposite play area.
The cottage will be deep cleaned with virus disinfectant and with PPE equipment and respirators worn by the cleaners. While we have practiced Government guidelines we remind our guests to practice responsibility for their own health by following government advice.
Remember even though your in the country side, field/footpath gates have been touched by others so its advised you take sanitiser on leaving the cottage. (we supply this).
If you are concerned with food shopping Tesco/Sainsbury’s will deliver here but you may have a wait and book a slot. We food shop at Lidl’s in Ilfracombe and it never seems to be busy except on a Sunday.
IMPORTANT: If any guest show symptoms during their stay, they and their party must terminate their stay as soon as can be arranged. Self isolating within the cottage is not permitted. This is Government Guidelines to the accommodation industry. We have other guests arriving on change over days all the way through to September.
